The Role

The role – We are looking to appoint an IT Manager/Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at Wheelwright Lane Primary School. This role is predominantly IT Manager incorporating Teaching Assistant activities. This involves taking lessons in the IT classroom and supporting PPA as well as managing and supporting the school’s IT network and all associated software programmes.
Key Requirements
Experience of working in a school environment essential
Excellent skills in IT
Excellent knowledge of IT networking and hardware as well as programmes and systems in the Education environment
Willingness to learn new skills and keep up to date with the latest news/legal issues
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences is essential
Able to plan, prioritise and organise own work is essential
Work well within a team
Working knowledge of GDPR principals
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 2 and working towards level 3 is desirable.
