Salary:  Grade 7 scp 23 – 28  (£36,922 to £41,881)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the City of Wolverhampton for a full-time Social Worker/AMHP with experience of working with Older Adults with mental health difficulties. The two posts will cover the West and East locality area of Wolverhampton and the successful applicants will be based in the multi-disciplinary team at the Brooklands Health Centre – at the current time Agile working is implemented.

 

We are looking for self-motivated Social Workers with a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably with AMHP status (or be willing to undertake training) to join our team. The successful applicant will be expected to perform duties on the AMHP rota (minimum of twice a month) Monday to Friday. Wolverhampton has a diverse population and we are currently implementing strength-based practice by working under 3 Conversations methodology.

 

Experience of working with Older People living with mental illness and use of the Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act is essential. The successful applicants will be committed to working with and safeguarding vulnerable adults. You will need to be able to work with your colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team and ensure person centred planning. You will also be fully committed to promoting customer wellbeing, independence and reablement.
