Blossomfield Childcare Deputy Manager

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Hours: 37 per week 52 weeks per year between 7:30 am and 6 pm – split shift work required

Salary: Band C £20,092 to £23,080 depending on experience

Blossomfield is a three form entry School with an attached Nursery. An exciting new opportunity has arisen as we look to recruit a forward thinking, enthusiastic Childcare and Extended Services 
Deputy Manager to support the Manager in organising our childcare provision for infant aged children. The Childcare Unit is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

The right person for the job will need to:

Have a Level 3 Qualification.  Early Educators Qualification, Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent childcare qualification.  A sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Requirements and Curriculum is essential. There is a requirement of a minimum of 2 years post qualifications experience in an early years setting.

Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and provide evidence of knowledge and understanding of child protection and leading a high quality educational provision.  Excellent IT and people skills are essential. We are looking for a motivated and strong leader who is able to work as an effective member of a team, deputising for the Childcare Manager in their absence.  
A willingness to embrace and perpetuate the warm and friendly ethos of our school.
