1:1 Teaching Assistant - Reception

Grade 4 Teaching Assistants Full time

Temporary 1 year contract

Term time/37 hours £18,795 pro rata

The Governors are seeking to recruit two Teaching Assistants to work on a one-to-one with pupils with additional needs in Reception from September 2021.  The successful candidates will need to be innovative and enthusiastic and be able to provide social and emotional support. 

In school, we are focused on developing a safe, nurturing learning environment to ensure our children flourish in all aspects of the Curriculum. The successful candidate will be someone who: 

• fosters an excellent relationship with a pupil on a 1:1

• is skilled in regulating behaviour and promoting positive relationships 

• is dedicated to ensuring the overall well-being of pupils

• demonstrates the drive and ability to ensure the highest possible standards for the child in their care

• fosters excellent working relationships with parents and carers

• supports the vision and ethos of our school 

An understanding of the Early Years Curriculum is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure Check through the confidential process administered by the Disclosure and Barring Service. A conviction may not exclude candidates from the job, but it will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
