Teacher MS1 – MS6

Required from September 2021

(1 year Fixed Term maternity cover)

River View Primary & Nursery School is located at the heart of Stapenhill. We are a two-form entry primary school with a nursery on site.

The governing body are looking for a teacher to join our Good school. Our Ofsted report highlighted our curriculum: The headteacher’s approach to designing the curriculum has been thoughtful and methodical. There is a clear emphasis on broadening pupils’ knowledge by covering a wide range of subjects. These subjects are taught through themes, with a range of memorable learning activities designed to engage pupils’ attention.” This is something we are now building on after reflection during the pandemic.

Ofsted also commented on the strength of the team that we have built and we are looking for teachers who are able to strengthen our team further and who are as committed to achieving high standards and meeting the needs of the individual child.  You will join a friendly, vibrant and caring staff team who are hardworking and supportive.  The post will be in Key Stage 2.

Applications are most welcome from Early Career Teachers where a full supportive package will be provided.

The children at River View need excellent teachers who have:

  • High expectations for themselves and their pupils
  • An excellent understanding of how children learn
  • A knowledge of the new curriculum

In return, the school can offer:
