Janitor Vacancy

Salary: SET Grade 2 SCP 7 – 10 FTE £17,842 to £18,562 (pro rata approximately £6,695 to £6,965)

Hours: 12 hours per week, Whole Year 52 weeks.

We are seeking to appoint a Janitor to work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to provide routine caretaking tasks that support the effective operation of the school. These duties will include the unlocking and securing of the premises at agreed times.

The successful candidate will require the ability to relate well with both pupils and adults and have the desire and ability to support the site team as required. You will be able to work as part of a team with enthusiasm and be keen to learn and develop. You will also have a strong commitment to ensure that the school is secure at all times to ensure pupils, staff and visitors’ safety.

The role will require two afternoon shifts each week to cover any school end of day routines and lettings as required between 1:30pm to 9:30pm. The role will also be required to support the external use of our hydrotherapy pool on a Saturday. Please contact school for further details.
