Cleaners (various locations) - Ref: RT03321
Salary G2 £9.43- £9.81 per hour

We require hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaners to join our team at various locations within the borough - in return, we offer excellent pay and holiday entitlements.

Permanent cleaners are needed at the following locations to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our schools and outlying buildings.  You will be expected to follow all operating procedures to ensure that health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.

Duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, washing, polishing, dusting, emptying litter bins, deep cleaning and using powered equipment as required.  The successful candidate must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals/machinery.

Brownhills Depot

  • Hours per week: 10.15
  • Weeks per year: 52
  • Start Time: 5.00pm

Oakwood Special School

  • Weeks per year: 39

Fibbersley Park Academy

  • Hours per week: 10
  • Weeks per year: 39
  • Start Time: 3.30pm

St. Giles Primary School

  • Hours per week: 12
  • Weeks per year: 39
  • Start Time: 3.30pm

Mary Elliott Special School

  • Hours per week: 11.15
  • Weeks per year: 39
  • Start Time: 3.15pm

Posts are covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.  The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
