School Administrator - Aqueduct Primary School
NJC Scale 2, Spinal Points 3-4 (£10,001.72 - £10,199.26)
24 hours per week
We work in close partnership with children, families, governors, and the wider community, to provide a school culture which values all its members as equal. Our aim is to provide a stimulating environment in which children can develop a lifelong love of learning. We are looking for a School Administrator to join our passionate and dedicated team.
The new School Administrator will:
* Be the first point of contact at the school for visitors and telephone enquiries;
* Undertake general reception duties, always ensuring highest standards of safeguarding and security in the reception area;
* Work with, and under the supervision of, the School Business Manager to enable the smooth running of the school office;
* Provide general clerical/admin support e.g., photocopying, filing, completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondence.
* Assist with pupil first aid/welfare duties, including being First Aid and Medication Administration trained;
* Maintain manual and computerized records, and management information systems.
* Maintain financial records, e.g., school fund;
* Process school orders using Agresso System;
* Provide a secretarial support service to the Headteacher, including typing/word processing, taking phone messages, and making diary appointments on the Headteacher’s behalf:
* Take minutes of meetings;
* Require good numeracy and literacy skills;
* Require good ICT skills;
* Need to be able to focus on the needs of pupils, parents, and colleagues in a busy, and sometimes pressurized, environment.
