The Role
Worcestershire County Council is looking for the right person to join their Transport Commissioning Team, the post will help develop the county councils approach to the new National Bus Strategy and be an integral part of delivering change to Bus Services within Worcestershire.
The delivery of the new national strategy will be an exciting challenge for all involved and a chance to change how people access services across the county for the future.
The County’s passenger transport services have faced an uncertain year and we are keen as the Local Transport Authority to support operators to recover from the challenges they have faced, this post will be an important part in the liaison with the many varied companies providing transport services across our county.
They will also be responsible for the review of the delivery of Home To School Transport across the county and be able to deliver safe, efficient and cost effective transport services.
