FULL TIME TEACHER OF HISTORY

The local governing body are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of History to add to our successful department. NQT’s are welcome to apply and would be supported by a specialist mentor and a full training programme. The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to at least GCSE level.
St Peter’s is a popular, over-subscribed and high achieving 11-18 Church of England Academy, awarded Good Status by Ofsted. The academy recently joined Three Spires Trust, and together are embarking on a new journey of collaboration and school improvement, which will include a brand new school build for St Peter’s in the next four years.
As a Church of England Trust academy with a strong Christian ethos, the governors particularly welcome applications from candidates who are practising Christians.
