The Role
32.5 Hours per Week
Fixed term contract for 12 months from start date.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to support a KS2 child with an EHCP within the classroom, during small group work or one to one. The post is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate needs to have a passion for supporting children with SEND, be able to use their initiative to adapt to the needs of a child based on their EHCP outcomes and have an empathetic nurturing approach, in line with our ethos and expectations. You will hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification working towards NVQ Level 3 and recent experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage (please include details in your application).
