Fixed term contract 20 22 July 2022.

We have 2 TA positions available on fixed-term contracts.

Post 1 - Early Years Educator TA 1 - 23 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our friendly team in September 2021 when we are extending our provision to offer 30 hours. The post is based in Bawnmore Cygnets Pre-School but also includes 4 morning sessions in our breakfast club – ‘Puffins’.

Working days –
Monday – 8.00 a.m. -1.00 p.m.
Tuesday – 8.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.
Wednesday – 8.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.
Thursday – 8.00 a.m. -1.00 p.m.
Friday – 9.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.

Salary - £10,035 - £10,235 per annum

We are a twenty-four-place pre-school managed by Bawnmore Community Infant School, offering spaces to pupils following their third birthday.

Post 2 - TA Level 1- KS1 13.25 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our friendly team in September 2021 working in KS1. This post will involve supporting pupils at lunchtime in addition to classroom based work and leading group interventions during the afternoon sessions.

Working days –
Monday – 12.00- 3.15 p.m.
Tuesday – 12.00 – 3.15 p.m.
Wednesday – 1.00 – 3.15 p.m.
Thursday – 1.00 -3.15 p.m.
Friday – 1.00 – 3.15 p.m.

Salary - £5781 - £5896 per annum

Key Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Hold minimum national standard NVQ 2 or equivalent and be working towards Level 3. Experience in working as a TA.
