Teaching Assistant – Level 2 (Behaviour Support)

Band F, scp 7-10 (F:7 £20,092 to F:10 £21,748 full-time salary) to work 37 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year (term-time only, plus teacher training days)

Fixed Term from 1 September 2021 to 31 July 2022 (in the first instance)

Actual starting £17,132 per annum after pro rata

We require a Teaching Assistant - Level 2 (Behaviour Support) to teach and support students in the school’s Focus Unit, who have been removed from the main school environment for short periods of time.

Key Requirements

We are looking for an energetic, organised and proactive colleague who has a good level of literacy and numeracy skills. They should possess a positive attitude and want to work with pupils who have specific behavioural needs. Previous experience is preferred, but not essential.

The post will also offer the ideal opportunity for a graduate looking to gain school experience before embarking on a teacher training course.
