Food Preparation Assistants – Ref: RT03821
Salary G3 £9.81 - £10.21 per hour

We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable individuals to assist in the production and delivery of school meals. The successful candidate will undertake general kitchen duties including the cleaning of associated equipment.  In return, we offer excellent pay rate, uniform and access to training. 

Food Preparation Assistants are valued members of our teams and are needed in our schools and Council buildings. 

We have vacancies for Food Preparation Assistants at the following premises:

Kingshill Primary School
Hours per week: 10 (38 weeks per year)
Times: 11.30am – 1.30pm

Alumwell Infant School
Hours per week: 10 (38 weeks per year)
Times: 11.45am – 1.45pm

Black Country UTC
Hours per week: 25 (39 weeks per year)
Times: 9.30am - 2.30pm

Black Country UTC
Hours per week: 17.5 (39 weeks per year)
Times: 9.30am – 1.00pm

Black Country UTC
Hours per week: 15 (39 weeks per year)
Times: 9.30am - 12.30pm

Successful applicants will hold or train for the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate.

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.  The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
