Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a Disability Service. The successful applicant will have an ability to lead a person-centred service, ensure high quality and demonstrate excellent use of resources.

You will have managed significant budgets and staff infrastructure; you will be a strong leader with a proven track record of transformational change, committed to improving outcomes for people with disabilities.

Whilst managing the competing pressures of delivering personalised care and support with decreasing resources, you will also have an ability to implement change swiftly and effectively. Your approach to change will involve active engagement with people with disabilities, carers and partner agencies to ensure the highest possible quality of care and responsiveness of service.

Reporting to the Director of Adult Social Care, you will lead the operational management of the Dudley Disability Service. You will have experience of working with housing and health colleagues to develop integrated approaches to care and support.

You will join a strong management team and form strategic partnerships to deliver improvement and manage service risk. You will be politically astute and your ability to support and guide Elected Members will be key.
