We are seeking to appoint a full time Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Conference Chair. If children and young people are at the centre of everything you do, we want to hear from you.

You will have:

  • Dedication to working directly with children and families to ensure that their voices are heard, and their needs are met.
  • Candidates must be a qualified Social Worker with at least five years post qualifying experience
  • must have supervisory/management experience.
  • a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, experience of chairing complex meetings and a commitment to service user participation.
  • Experience of managing multi-agency meetings
  • Good written and oral communication skills including being able to analyse and evaluate information effectively and negotiate with colleagues
  • A strong commitment to making a difference by ensuring the best outcomes for children and families
  • Social Work England registration.
