The Governors of Wollescote Primary School are seeking to appoint an Unqualified Sports Teacher to plan, deliver and manage high quality PE and swimming lessons for pupils aged 4-11 years within the school day, and also provide out of school sporting opportunities through afterschool clubs.  For genuine occupational requirement reasons, we are looking to appoint a Female only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

Do you have extensive experience of teaching PE?

Are you caring, calm, friendly and patient with a committed work ethic?

Are you a hardworking, highly motivated and organised person, who has good communication skills and manages their time well?

Are you a team player who is willing to share ideas, flexible, open to change and always willing to have a go at new things?

Can you work in a team of sports coaches in planning and delivering PE lessons, swimming lessons and afterschool club sessions?

Do you have experience of teaching sports lessons and swimming classes to a good level?

Do you have a UKCC National Governing Body coaching qualification in swimming (at a minimum of Level 2) and a UKCC National Governing Body coaching qualification in at least two additional sport (at a minimum of Level 2)?

The successful candidate will be employed 32.5 hours per week.
