We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our Property Services & Maintenance Partnership at Solihull Council.

The Property Services & Maintenance Partnership (PSMP) provides an innovative property maintenance function for our own non domestic and other public sector organisations across the Midlands with a turnover of circa £20m. We work in partnership with 3 commercial companies to ensure we provide a competitive, sustainable and value for money service.

In this role you will be part of a small team of surveyors responsible for the effective provision of a property maintenance service to our Council premises and external clients. You will provide expert advice and guidance to our customers in all aspects of reactive maintenance, compliance planned preventative maintenance, Health and Safety and minor works projects. 

You will also be required to take part of the Property Services ‘Out of Hours’ standby rota.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role in either the private or the public sector.   Enthusiastic and passionate, you will be able to demonstrate effective operational experience together with exceptional Client liaison skills.
