Birchills Church of England Community Academy (part of St Chad’s Academies Trust) is seeking to appoint an experienced level 2 teaching assistant, to join our dedicated hard -working team, supportive community and delightful well behaved delightful children.

Applicants should be able to:

  •  Establish productive working relationships with children, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
  •  Foster the development of language and literacy through talking and telling stories
  • have a good understanding of child development
  • have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • be hardworking and an enthusiastic professional
  • hold NVQ level 2 teaching assistant qualification
