Head of Year*

35 hours per week (Term Time- 39 weeks)

NJC 23-25* (Dependant on Experience)

*Actual Salary (Indicative) = Point 23-£22,771   Point 25-£24,278

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, inspiring and enthusiastic Head of Year to join our dedicated Pastoral Team at an exciting time in the school’s history.   Blue Coat Church of England Academy is an inclusive learning environment and we are committed to allowing pupils of all ages and abilities to access a broad and engaging curriculum.    *This role is to provide capacity within the pastoral team and the successful candidate will need to work flexibly to support all aspects of the pastoral team’s work including working in our Success Centre and within the Head of Year team.

Blue Coat Church of England Academy is one of the oldest educational establishments in Walsall, is well-respected and valued by the community it serves.  We operate on a very collaborative approach to school improvement working with a range of other schools and nationally recognised trainers.  The school is very proud of the family ethos which pervades all aspects of its work, which is grounded in Christian values.
