Warwick District Council has a big ambition to eliminate rough sleeping in the district and to make a lasting difference to the lives of homeless people. We have an opportunity for the right person  to manage a small team of support workers and a temporary accommodation officer in roles funded through the Warwick District Council’s Rough Sleeper Initiative.

£30,451 to £32,910 per annum
37 hours per week (there may be occasional weekend and bank holiday working)

This post is central to Warwick District Council’s temporary accommodation offer, directing the work of the temporary accommodation service, and being a major player in tackling rough sleeping and minimising the use of guest houses for emergency interim accommodation.  The temporary accommodation offer is made up of a number of one bedroom properties throughout the district, 12 units of self-contained supported accommodation and a 11 bed supported hostel (currently closed for refurbishment)   

Working as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support and be flexible in your approach to work; you will have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to providing support.  With leadership skills, able to motivate and coach the team to achieve positive results for service user.

You are required to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
