St. Francis’ Catholic Primary is a two-form entry, successful, multi-cultural school in the heart of Birmingham, with a proven track record of helping children overcome barriers to learning and offering both academic strength and pastoral care which makes a difference to the lives of our children and families.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our team from September 2021.

We are looking for someone with a good level of spoken English, and successful experience in enabling good progress for children, working in partnership with other staff in school. Successful experience of working in Reception would be an advantage, as well as a good knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.

The successful applicant will be a practising Catholic, or sympathetic to and supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.

St. Francis’ is a school with high standards and expectations, committed to providing the best for every child and working alongside the community. We work closely with other local Catholic schools as part of the Caritas Christi in Urbe group, to share best practice, improve standards and provide professional development.
