Worcestershire Libraries are recruiting.  We have vacancies at a range of library locations across the county. 

We have multiple opportunities for enthusiastic and flexible individuals with experience of providing excellent customer service and leading a team to join Worcestershire Libraries.

You must have the flexibility to work across service points when required, which are part of the cluster and a wider team. As a Team Leader, you will able to lead and supervise staff, including setting clear expectations and goals and supporting high performance. You will be working alongside the library team delivering a wide range of literacy, reading and learning services and helping to promote wider community participation. You will have a good understanding of information resources, be comfortable working closely with partner organisations and be able to demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to customer service to all customers including children and young people. If you can enthuse and motivate a team by promoting a clear sense of purpose, inspiring a positive attitude to work and arousing a strong desire to succeed among team members and would like to be part of a forward thinking service we would love to hear from you.

Please provide detailed examples of your experience relating directly to the person specification.

Working hours are based on a rota and include Saturdays and evenings.

Worcestershire Libraries are structured in clusters with a larger library and 3 others in each cluster except for The Hive.  There is an expectation that you would work where needed at any library in the cluster.

Evesham cluster (Evesham, Pershore, Broadway and Droitwich)
