TEACHER OF MFL (Upper KS2 and KS3

Salary:      Dependent on Experience - suitable for NQTs and Main Scale Teachers

We are looking to recruit a qualified languages teacher to enrich the learning and development of our KS2 and KS3 students. There will be a need to teach other curriculum areas, however the overriding subject taught will be languages.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher with a passion to enthuse students to enjoy, achieve and make outstanding progress in Modern Foreign Languages – this could be French, German or Spanish.  You will need to be able to create and deliver engaging and innovative lesson plans with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments for both KS2 and KS3.  Your lessons must meet the needs of all students and includes accurate target setting; set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessments; monitor and report on the progress of students and take appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential; demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skill and recognise, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the students experience and learning.

The Languages department, where the successful candidate will be based, is in our beautiful Blackminster Middle School site.
