Reception Teacher, Fixed Term covering Maternity Leave, Fixed term contract 01.09.2021 to 31.12.2021 (subject to satisfactory clearances)

Silvertrees Academy is a thriving three form entry Infant and Nursery school with 2 year old and full time 3 year old provision. Ofsted judged Silvertrees Academy as  GOOD in April 2019. Our school is a uniquely designed open plan building with a recently refurbished Nursery and reception unit. We consider our school community to be a family that work together and support each other. We are a large friendly team who work with enthusiasm and commitment to provide the best possible learning journey for every one of our pupils.

The Governors, pupils and staff at Silvertrees Academy are looking to appoint a motivated, skilled and creative teacher to cover maternity leave. You will work alongside an experienced Reception team who can offer high quality support and professional development. You will be responsible for continuing good attainment, progress and behaviour and ensuring the well-being of the children you support is given high priority. You will be part of a nurturing, dedicated and enthusiastic team who put children at the heart of everything they do. The role is full-time but we would consider part-time for a suitable candidate. This position may not be suitable for an NQT due to the short-term nature of the post
