Job Details
It is an exciting time to be joining Worcestershire County Council are who are changing the way it manages property with the creation of a new property team and development of a corporate landlord model for strategic planning and delivery. A permanent role for an Asset Review Office is needed to join the Corporate Landlord team reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager.
The Asset Review Officer will review the performance of the Council’s assets working closely with Directorates to develop a clear understanding of service delivery needs and how the use of property can support this providing sustainable accommodation and identify opportunities for increased efficiency in the use of our assets.
In reviewing the performance of the Council’s assets his role will identify ways to make the estate more efficient and realise broader opportunities for shared use and increased efficiency in the use of property.
They will also be part of strategy setting and implementation of the Asset Management Plan
The role will be suited to professionals in the property industry who have experience of challenging traditional approaches, analysing usage and options and working with end users to deliver property solutions and business cases to support such.
