We need an enthusiastic team member to provide an efficient and effective commercial operation for The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. To ensure a consistent approach to the delivery of administration and financial services across the Museum Service
To assist with a bookings system for visitors to the museum. Assist with weekly banking and reconciliation of cash.
Assist the Gallery and Museums Manager with setting up appointments and tasks as required.
We are looking for a part-time Business Development Officer to work for 30 hours per week.
The post holder will report to the Business Development Manager and will work with that team to deliver the museums commercial offer. You will develop and foster a good working relationship with all the teams within the museum and seek out and develop new commercial opportunities based on the museum’s unique collections, spaces and events program. You will work with other members of the museum team to deliver and support new business opportunities. You also be responsible for booking visitors into the museum and any related administration tasks at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery. In addition, there are a range of supplementary administration tasks required to enable the delivery and development of a program of visitor engagement ensuring every visitor has a unique and inspiring visit.
