Title: Public Health COVID -19 Cell Manager
Hours: 37.00
Salary: 38,890.00 - 42,821.00
Fixed Term contract until 31st March 2022
Location: Hereford

As part of Herefordshire’s Covid-19 Outbreak response, Herefordshire Council are looking to recruit a Public Health COVID 19 Cell Manger to lead our Outbreak Control Hub Cell team. This is a busy team which provides the support required to manage outbreaks of the virus and delivers expert knowledge of health protection and proactive advice to reduce the onward transmission of COVID.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the team working in close collaboration with staff from across the council, contributing to a responsive and proactive programme of work to implement the Local Outbreak Control Plan, covering both COVID response and recovery across the local authority ensuring benefits are realised and delivered within agreed timescales.
Along with your Public Health and Environmental Health skills and your ability to analyse and interpret data, you will have a degree or equivalent relevant experience, and evidence of your involvement in project or programme management.
