Required from September 2021, a well qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to teach English at both KS3 and KS4, within a large, friendly and well-resourced department. Students both respect and enjoy English at Nunnery Wood and progress scores and results are uniformly outstanding.

Maternity cover required from September to March/April 2022, although a fixed term contract could be discussed.

Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. Our last Ofsted report praised the outstanding behaviour and courtesy of our students and the respect that they showed to staff. They judged students’ “personal development” too as outstanding. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy. We are ambitious for them all and share a deep conviction that they should all reach their potential with us.
