DT Technical Support
Required from September 2021
Grade 6 NJC 7 - 11 (£10.41 to £11.27 per hour), 32.5 hours per week
Term-time only, permanent
We wish to appoint a Technical Support assistant to work in our successful Technology Department as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will assist teaching staff in providing students with a relevant, effective and efficient design and technology experience, ensuring the department continues to maintain excellent levels of engagement and achievement.
Your key role will be to provide support to the Technology Department preparing materials for practical lessons, maintaining machinery and equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements, and maintaining and monitoring consumables (materials) and equipment within the department. Training will be provided where required. Previous experience of working within a similar environment is preferable.
We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative to get things done; a working knowledge of health and safety requirements is advantageous, with a recognised health and safety qualification an advantage.
