Catering Supervisor Grade 4 £19,312 per annum pro rata
Term-time + INSET
30 hours a week
Between 8.00am & 2pm in the first instance.
Start & finish times may vary dependent on service needs

This is an exciting opportunity to join the academy catering team within our multi-academy trust. St. Peter’s is a thriving and inclusive learning community of over 440 pupils, situated in Hednesford, Staffordshire and is part of Future Generation Trust. Our motto is ‘Reach for the Sky’ and pupils are placed at the forefront of every experience and decision in school. The Academy is a two-form entry school which provides exciting and inspirational learning for children aged from Nursery to Year 6. Our academy prides itself on our relationships with all stakeholders and our welcoming, friendly and nurturing learning environment.
Our academy is committed to providing an excellent catering service and as such we serve a minimum of 180 lunches each day.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced person who will assist in the continued development of this successful operation.
Candidates must be capable of developing and implementing a range of creative and innovative ideas to further our catering provision.
You will be motivated by a passion for quality, coupled with the highest standards in food production, presentation and service.
You must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of practical cooking in a large-scale environment, budget management experience, excellent management skills and good IT skills.
Effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care are essential, as is the ability to work and lead a team.
