ESOL Covid Project Officer - Ref: EE01221
Fixed Term until 30th September 2021
G7 - £27,041 – £29,577 per annum
THIS IS AN INTERNL VACANCY OPEN TO EXISTING WALSALL COUNCIL EMPLOYEES ONLY
This key role will ensure that those residents where English is a second language get appropriate public health messages. The post holder will develop partnerships across a range of stakeholders to build trust and develop strong links to minority communities’ and community groups who are best placed to disseminate effective communications.
If you are committed to going the extra mile in the interests of public health and want to be part of a team that wants to ensure all members of Walsall residents get timely and accurate messaging we would like to have a conversation with you.
Previous experience of working with diverse communities and understanding the barriers that exist where English is a second language is essential. As the project is time limited experience of project management methodology will be key to effective delivery.
