Property and Projects Manager
£41,881 - £45,859 per annum
37 hours per week
The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and development of a diverse property function including property/estate management, the operation of the Councils CCTV function, capital project management, corporate Health and Safety and insurance.
The Council has a strong track record of delivering innovative capital projects including building a Hospital and GP practice in Pershore, building two Waitrose Supermarkets and renewing and extending leisure centres in Evesham and Droitwich. A significant part of this role is to utilise and manage the in-house resources to deliver the next round of schemes and to identify new opportunities which enhance the Councils portfolio.
The post-holder will need to demonstrate commitment to delivering the Council's values of great customer service, openness and accountability, innovation and improvement and fairness and respect
In addition, this role requires the successful candidate to be responsible for championing and demonstrating the Council’s Leadership Behaviour Framework by leading, inspiring, communicating, collaborating and empowering self and others.
As Property and Projects Manager you will need a proven track record of managing and developing property and handling large-scale projects. While full membership of RICS is desirable you may have other property related professional qualifications and background which may allow you to demonstrate suitability for this role.
Commercial acumen and problem solving ability is essential for this role as you will need to guide and support the team in dealing with complex and demanding challenges, be commercially savvy and a keen interest in seeking opportunities to expand and develop our property assets.

- Proven track record of property management and development
- Experience of managing diverse teams through effective leadership
- Good understanding of property legislation
- Experience of managing complex projects
- Preparing and presenting reports
