The Governors are keen to appoint a Pastoral Manager – Post 16 to be responsible for the inclusion and academic progress of students in post 16. The successful candidate will ensure high levels of student engagement towards their studies and support the pastoral and wellbeing needs of our KS5 students.

The successful candidate will be fully supported in their career and professional development through a vast programme of CPD provided by the academy.

King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls’ Academy is an 11-18 comprehensive school in the north-west of Birmingham.

Our student intake is from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, making for a very harmonious and happy school.
