Hours:                         37 hours per week  - (pro rata 47.15 weeks per year)

Salary:                        Grade 7 Point 15 to 22 – (FTE £23,541 - £27,041)

Gorsemoor Primary School are seeking to appoint an exceptionally well-organised and experienced individual to support the school’s effective provision of day-to-day administrative tasks, in the role of Operational Office Manager. 

At Gorsemoor, we pride ourselves on placing the children at the centre of all that we do, enabling them to reach their potential in both their academic and personal achievements.  As a member of the support staff team, the successful candidate will be key to ensuring the highest of standards for our pupils, by taking overall responsibility for the efficient and effective running of the school office; maintaining and overseeing office and administrative systems and undertaking finance and HR functions. The role also provides support to Senior Leaders, together with managing a team of Office Administrators.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, it is essential therefore that the successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, have a high level of personal drive, energy and resilience.  The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills and will need to respond effectively to changing priorities, using their initiative as well as having excellent organisation skills. Confidentiality and professionalism are key attributes for this role.
