Teaching Assistant (Level 3) - Millbrook Primary School

Term Time only; 15 hours per week (Fixed Term for the academic year)
NJC Scale 3, Spinal Point 5 - £10.01 per hour

Required from 1st September 2021

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced colleague to join our team who can understand and speak Polish. You will primarily work alongside the EAL coordinator and class teachers to support the language acquisition of pupils who have EAL. You will also aid communication between school and parents/carers by providing support with translation at parent/carers consultations. You may also be required to support making phone calls and writing letters.

You will need a good general standard of education including GCSE English and Maths equivalent to Grade C or 4 and NVQ Level 3 minimum. Experience of working in a school setting is essential.
