From Stoke on Trent in the North to Worcestershire in the South; from Herefordshire in the West to Warwickshire in the East via the West Midlands conurbation, Trading Standards Officers from the 14 local Authorities that make up CEnTSA need support to co-ordinate regional activities and training.  We are looking for an exceptional individual to fill this role.  Do you have the drive and enthusiasm to make that happen? The Role

The Regional Training Co-ordinator will deliver and implement a Learning and Development programme, including the design, development, and commissioning of learning and training.  You will be responsible for achieving financial targets and ensuring that training and development is delivered in line with the policy and financial strategy of the partnership. 

You will also support the Regional Co-ordinator including attending meetings, taking minutes, production of regional newsletters payment processing, recording and reporting and the maintenance of records. 

Whilst based at Budbrooke Warwick, as this is a regional post, you will be expected to travel to meetings and events on a regular basis throughout the West Midlands area. 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in training and development, workforce development, or in the higher education sector.
  • Experienced in dealing with a range of Stakeholders at all levels including operational staff, strategic managers, external agencies and building and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
  • Practical working knowledge of Microsoft IT applications, including e-mail, websites and presentation software.

Mathematics and English Language GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent).
