Hours:  37 per week

Salary:  Grade 13

Are you ready for a new exciting challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Manager in our Emotional and Wellbeing Service.

Dudley Lighthouse Links is our in-house therapeutic and emotional wellbeing service for Dudley’s children in care. Our focus is to promote the health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people and to support those who have responsibility for their care.  We offer our service via a therapeutic model approach grounded in the relationship-based tradition and heavily influenced by systemic, strengths based and restorative approaches.

You are invited to join our specialist borough-wide emotional wellbeing service to support a multidisciplinary team of therapeutic social workers, clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, a therapeutic teacher and skills workers in their delivery of a valued relationship based service to promote a positive working culture that maintains high standards of practice - and empowering others to do the same.

Your role will be to manage and co-ordinate the delivery of Dudley Lighthouse Links consultation and therapy-based service and to work closely with our Children in Care teams and Internal Residential Children’s Homes to contribute to the planning and delivery of a comprehensive package of support. You will also support the Dudley Lighthouse Links team to offer carers the advice, guidance and therapeutic services needed to promote the development of nurturing parental relationships for our most vulnerable and complex children.

If you are innovative, positive, dedicated, and able to embrace change and challenges, we would like to invite you join our team.

Applicants must have a social work qualification along with a sound understanding of the key legislation, policy and best practice guidance underpinning this area of work. They should also be able to demonstrate vision, with excellent leadership skills to ensure we continue to strive to offer the best services for the children we look after.
