Barnardo's is leading the Early Help offer in Yardley and are seeking to appoint to a number of posts to further develop our Yardley Early Help offer. Yardley Early Help is helping to build community capacity, establishing a network of support involving community and voluntary sector organisations to ensure that families are connected to the right and effective support, whether that is help with leisure and recreation, advice and guidance, education and training.

Key Requirements

Barnardo's is one of a number of voluntary and community sector organisations that are leading on the Early Help offer across the city of Birmingham.

As team manager you will lead a team of early help workers including community connectors, family support workers and admin support. You will provide operational direction for the development of the early help offer, ensuring an efficient and effective response to all enquires to the early help front door.  You will need to be passionate and motivated with a thirst for ensuring and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.

As team manager you will need to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Yardley area, using this knowledge to shape the early help offer to children and families ensuring that resources are targeted effectively to where it is most needed. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to children, young people and families of Yardley.
