Cannock Chase High School is a vibrant and ambitious learning community.  We are seeking to appoint a Sixth Form Support Officer to work in partnership with staff across the academy to provide the best learning experience for our Sixth Form students.  You will support Sixth Form students with academic, personal and social concerns, including support with overcoming barriers to learning and Post-18 destinations.

The successful candidate will also provide general support in the Sixth Form, including support with admissions, attendance and pastoral issues, as well as providing administrative support to the Assistant Headteacher (Post 16).

The successful candidate will be part of the Sixth Form Team and will contribute to making our Sixth Form an inclusive and welcoming environment which continually strives for excellence.

You will have experience of working with children with a variety of complex needs, with a particular focus on Post-16 students.  We are looking for someone who builds constructive relationships with families and carers and keeps them informed of the student’s needs and progress.  You will also be required to keep regular and confidential records relating to students.
