As a Student Mental Health Adviser, you will provide information, advice and guidance to 16-18-year olds who are experiencing a range of mental health issues.
Working closely with key members of the Student Services team you will be responsible for a caseload of students, supporting them to develop their resilience and improve their mental health. Providing engaging mental health training and guidance to staff on how to effectively support students and establishing strong external partnership relationships are also important aspects of this role.
The successful candidate will understand the needs of our students, be committed to improving their life chances and passionate about supporting them to succeed. You will also be flexible, self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills. For this role, you will be required to be qualified to degree level or hold a professional qualification in Mental
Health support. In addition to this, you will also be a member of an appropriate professional body, with proven credibility in a professional setting.
