We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the WMADCS Programme team.  WMADCS is the Regional Association for Directors of Childrens Services responsible for developing, commissioning and leading the delivery of services to children, young people and their families.  The successful applicant will be working closely with Directors, and senior leaders from across the West Midlands making this an ideal development opportunity for those ambitious to further their career.

As Administrator you will provide the Programme Team with comprehensive administrative, finance and business support. Acting as the first point of contact for all programme queries, you will ensure that links are maintained with a range of regional and national partners and agencies. Co-ordinating and contributing to working groups and project teams, you will also provide financial and management information, produce reports, maintain programme plans and complete statistical returns.

To make this fixed term opportunity yours you will have:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills with GCSE’s in Maths and English or a relevant Level 2 qualification
  • Experience of working within customer focussed administration and financial environments
  • Able to engage and build relationships with a wide range of partners and customers.
  • Able to facilitate meetings and take accurate notes.
  • Confident in using a range of IT systems including databases and MS Office (or similar) with the ability to analyse, interpret and present information.
