Job Details

Little Heath Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic SSO to keep Little Heath up and running. Little Heath is a medium sized primary school.

 

The person appointed will be responsible for site security, Health and safety, and all duties associated with the role of an SSO (please see attached job description)

We are looking for a candidate with experience but we are also willing to receive applications from people who have a range of skills to offer, ie, painting, plumbing, carpentry etc.

Training is part of the job and will include training on asbestos, water hygiene, fire safety etc.

As well as lone working the successful applicant will be working as part of the school team. They will also need to work with outside contractors when necessary and will be responsible for reporting all areas of repairs and maintenance required both in the school and the grounds.

Permanent subject to a 6 month probationary period

37 hours per week (All year round) 7-11am and 3pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday – finishing at 6pm on a Friday

Interview Date: W/C 5th July 2021 

The start date for this position is August 2021 subject to a satisfactory DBS Any offer of employment to the above post will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
