The Education Entitlement Service (EES) strives to deliver outstanding services for our customers, predominately the children of Coventry, who may be requiring access to education or alternative education provision. We ensure vulnerable children are appropriately supported; have a voice, that hopefully leads to their high achievement and excellent progress.

The EES is made up of a diverse range of teams all working together to recognise, support and apply innovative solutions to address the growing issues in relation to trying to educate some of our most vulnerable pupils in schools. 

Coventry Music Service are the lead provider of Music Education in the city and the Lead Organisation of Coventry Music Education Hub.  Our goal is to deliver an inclusive offer of Music Education across the city as part of the Education Entitlement Service.

What is the job role?

This post is to start on 1 September 2021.

To provide a high quality administrative and general office support to Coventry Music. Delivering high quality customer service for users. 

Working alongside colleagues you will support Coventry Music Education Hub and Music Service team to deliver objectives including; building relationships with schools and other organisations, enabling high-quality music provision, creating and developing progression routes and redefining music education in the city.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
 

Who are we looking for?

An organised individual who can work as part of a team to deliver great customer service: digitally, on the phone and face to face, both at our music centres and events.  We are looking for someone who can work with a bespoke management system and standard ICT systems and processes to ensure we deliver high quality music education both in and out of Coventry Schools.

This role is 30 hours per week - term time only.
