Health Care Assistant - The Orchard School

The Governors of this primary aged school for pupils with complex and profound learning difficulties wish to appoint a Health Care Assistant.  Experience of working with children with complex and profound learning difficulties is required.  We are looking for people, who are adaptable, reliable, and good team players.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Any offer of appointment will be subject to successful DBS clearance and 2 satisfactory references and a clear Disqualification by association return if applicable.

Start date:  7^th September 2021  (subject to satisfactory clearances)

Hours: 20 hours per week (10am-2pm ideally), term time only

Salary: Band C, SCP 5-8 (£19,312 p.a. - £20,493 p.a.) - Actual Salary £9,073 - £9,756 p.a. + SEN allowance
