We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Apprentice.  In this role, you will predominantly work with pupils, teachers and teaching assistants. Sometimes you will have contact with parents and the general public. We are looking for a friendly person with a positive attitude who can manage the variety of demands within a busy school setting.

We will also expect you contribute towards the wider school by being part of our lunchtime team and you may need to accompany children to school events, such as sports matches. You will also be part of our wrap around care team, either before school or after school.

Hours are  37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time + INSET days) Monday – Friday. Holidays to be taken during school holiday periods only. Exact hours will be negotiated with the successful applicants, but the earliest start time is 7.30am and the latest finish time 6pm.

We expect you to hold qualifications that demonstrate a good level of literacy and numeracy.
