Teaching and Wrap Around Assistant - St Peter’s CE (VC) Primary School Bratton.
Total of 23.75 hours per week made up of 7.5 hours wrap around care and 16.25 hours teaching assistant.
NJC scale level 2: £9.62 per hour 16.25 hours per week
NJC scale level 2: £9.62 per hour 7.5 hours per week
Start date: September 1st 2021
An exciting opportunity has arisen at St Peter’s Bratton for a suitably experienced and talented individual to join our team as a teaching assistant. We do have flexibility on which age group you work with.
We are looking for an individual who can develop and enhance children’s learning as well as support children’s mental health.
The successful applicant will need to be resilient and self-reliant, acting on your own initiative, but with appropriate support and guidance. You will need to be well organised and have good IT skills.
In our school, you will need to work as part of a team. Working together, for the good of the children in our school is a crucial part of this role.
Working hours will initially be 7.30am - 12.15pm. There are currently opportunities for additional hours on a casual basis.

In your letter of application, please outline within 1000 words how you are suitably qualified and experienced for the role.
Please note, this is a Church of England Primary School and candidates should be sympathetic to the Christian Ethos of the school. St Peter’s Bratton joins the St Chad’s Academies Trust on 1st September.
These posts are designated customer facing roles under the fluency duty and requires a level of spoken English as stated in the person specification.
