Early Years Safeguarding and Improvement Adviser

Salary up to £34,728 (based on a 37hr position)

Worcestershire Children First is seeking to appoint an experienced practitioner to fulfil the post of Early Years/ Safeguarding Improvement Advisor. This is a permanent post to commence in September 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter. This post will be based at County Hall.

The post holder will be an excellent practitioner in the Early Years and have experience of leadership and as a DSL. They will be an advisor for key aspects of the EYFS with settings and childminders with a particular focus on safeguarding. The post holder will need to have a thorough understanding of the EYFS and the Welfare Requirements and of Keeping Children Safe in Education.

This is a varied role with opportunities to work in a wide range of contexts and creative partnerships; as such, the successful applicant will need excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
