About Us and The Role
The Council is currently scoping out future ways of working and in particular longer-term ambitions for agile working, where work is what you do, not necessarily when and where you do it. The result is going forward we need less office space overall.
We are looking to recruit a project manager to manage a number of projects across the programme of activities.

We are looking for dynamic and self-motivated individual who wants the responsibility for delivering transformation projects across the Council - implementing solutions that deliver benefits and improved outcomes across the county.
We are looking for someone who has a good track record of successfully delivering projects with excellent interpersonal skills and experience in stakeholder engagement and management. You should have a positive approach and be able to manage demands and conflicts in a calm professional manner.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience of managing projects
- Leadership and direction to projects
- Leadership of the project teams
- Experience of managing conflicting, changing priorities and schedules
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
- A strong communicator with the ability to effectively interact across various levels, teams, and cultures
- Ability to plan and monitor projects effectively
