Wollescote is a larger than average primary school which serves a diverse community. Our work is characterised by our fundamental commitment to inclusion. Of our 421 pupils currently on roll, a large proportion of pupils (72%) come from Pakistani backgrounds. Approximately 20% of our pupils qualify for Pupil Premium.

The school is supported by a very able governing body, with Ofsted, school improvement, finance and management backgrounds and is a consistently good school. Our core values of Be Proud, Be Positive and Be Polite encapsulates our ethos of ensuring that children reach their potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Hours:   The successful candidate will be employed 37 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm (3:30pm finish on Friday) term time only.

Salary :  £17,267.18 - £18,691.22 per annum

The Governors wish to appoint a full time Level 3 Learning Support Assistant with experience of Upper Key Stage 2.

Are you committed to making a difference for children and passionate about helping them achieve their best?  Are you a hardworking, highly motivated and organised person, who has good communication skills and manages their time well?

Do you have experience of working in Upper Key Stage 2 and delivering targeted interventions which show clear impact?  Do you have a good working knowledge of the basic skills needed to support children in Years 5 & 6 including the relevant grammatical and mathematical knowledge to assist in SAT preparation?

Have you a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in school?
